Common questions

Short, factual answers about what ClaimSaathi does, what it costs and what it cannot promise.

Is ClaimSaathi really free?

Yes. There is no consultation fee, no success fee, no commission and no percentage of any amount you receive. The work is carried on voluntarily.

Do you charge a success fee or a percentage of my claim?

No. We take nothing from the outcome of your claim, whatever that outcome is. If anyone asks you for a share of a claim in our name, it is not us.

Will ClaimSaathi contact my insurance company?

No. You communicate with your insurer or TPA yourself, from your own registered email address. We help you understand what they have written and help prepare your reply.

Can you guarantee my claim will be approved?

No. The decision rests with your insurer and, where applicable, with other competent authorities. We do not promise approval, settlement, payment or reversal of a rejection. What we can do is help you understand the reason given and put your case clearly.

What should I send you?

The insurer's or TPA's email or letter, ideally the complete thread rather than a screenshot, along with a few lines about what has happened. Your policy schedule and the relevant hospital papers help too. Please do not send Aadhaar, PAN or bank statements unless a document genuinely needs them, and never send passwords, OTPs or PINs to anyone.

What happens when my insurer replies again?

Forward the latest reply to us and we help you prepare the next response. This can continue for as long as your claim runs, at no cost.

What if the insurance company calls me?

Take the call, note what was said, and then send a short email recording it: what you understood, what was asked for, and a request to correct you if that is wrong. A phone call leaves no record, and a written record helps you keep track of what was asked and what you sent.

Can you help if my claim has already been rejected?

Often, yes. We can help you read the rejection letter, identify the ground or clause relied upon, and prepare a response or representation where the facts and documents support one. Sometimes the honest reading is that the insurer's reason is correct, and we will tell you that too.

Do you help with motor, life or other insurance?

Not at present. This initiative is focused on health insurance claims for policyholders in India.
